You Are at a Threshold. Financial clarity for women navigating the moments that change everything.

Born For This

I named this business Threshold before I had the language to explain why.

Years before I had any framework for it, I was already building something I could not fully articulate. I knew it was about transition. About the moment a person's life cracks open and they have to figure out who they are on the other side of it. About money, yes, but also about dignity and clarity and the strange, sacred territory between who someone used to be and who they are becoming.

I did not have language for all of that yet. So I named it what it felt like. A threshold.

What I knew before I could name it

I have spent over fourteen years as a fiduciary advisor. I have sat with women in the aftermath of divorce, in the shock of sudden widowhood, in the quiet disorientation of inheriting money they never expected, in the exhaustion of caregiving that had slowly dismantled their financial lives. I learned to read a financial statement and a nervous system at the same time. I learned that money is never only about money.

What I could not fully claim, for a long time, was why it mattered so much to me. Why I could not do this work at a surface level no matter how much easier that would have been. Why the word dignity kept showing up in my language about money when most of the field was talking about returns and risk tolerance.

What the credentials confirmed

My credentials matter, and I hold them seriously. I am a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst. I hold a Behavioral Financial Advisor designation. I am Financial Trauma Certified. I have been a fiduciary advisor for over fourteen years.

But I want to be honest about something. The certifications did not make me capable of this work. They confirmed and sharpened a capacity that was already there. They gave me language, rigor, and a professional container for something that had been forming in me long before any exam. What made me capable of this was built earlier, in the years I spent as the steady one in rooms that were not steady, learning to sit with someone in real distress without flinching, without rushing, without reducing her to a problem to solve.

The deeper work of understanding myself

In recent years I have looked at myself through more than one lens, not out of vanity, but out of a specific hunger to understand what I am actually built for so I can do it more fully. Some of what I found was psychological. Some of it was older than any framework I can name.

My Human Design names me a Projector, someone whose gift is seeing clearly rather than generating endless energy. Seeing systems, seeing people, seeing what is actually happening beneath what is being said. My chart places my Sun and my North Node in Scorpio, the territory of transformation, hidden truth, and money as a psychological force. And the numerology of my full name returns, again and again, to the same word. A keeper of thresholds.

None of it told me what to do. It confirmed what I had already been doing, and gave me permission to stop explaining it as coincidence.

Why this matters for you

If you have arrived here, you are likely somewhere near a threshold of your own. Not necessarily in crisis. Sometimes a threshold looks like crisis. Sometimes it is a very quiet awareness that something has shifted and you are not yet sure what the next chapter asks of you.

Either way, you need someone who can hold the complexity of your situation without simplifying it into something more comfortable. Someone who understands that money is tied to identity, that decisions made in distress are different from decisions made in clarity, and that the goal is not just a better portfolio. The goal is a life you can stand in. I have been preparing to do exactly that for longer than I knew.

If you are standing at a threshold

I know this terrain. There is no pressure here, only an open door when you are ready.
